Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival at Srinagar
On arrival at Srinagar Airport from there you will meet and assist by our representative the summer capital of Kashmir. It will be your 1st day of the tour. The city of lakes and historical monuments. On arrival enjoy Shikara ride and visit nearby market and enjoy the evening view of Srinagar. Then Check in the house boat, dinner and overnight stay at house boat.
Day 2
Local City Tour of Srinagar
After breakfast Check out from the houseboat and you commence your sight-seeing activities with the glorious past of Kashmir visiting the famous mughal gardens. Shalimar (Abode of Love) built by Jahangir for his beloved queen Nur Jahan in 1616. The garden has four terraces and the fourth terrace was once reserved for royal ladies. Nishat (The Garden of Pleasure) built by Asif khan for his sister Nur Jehan in 1633. The garden command’s magnificent view of the lake. Chashma-i-Shahi (Royal Spring) was laid by Shah Jehan in 1632. It is famous for the spring of refreshing digestive mineral water. It will be your full day sightseeing then check in the hotel dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3
Srinagar – Gulmarg sightseeing – Srinagar
After morning breakfast drive to Gulmarg, the famous “Meadow of Flowers” at 2730 meters, with an unhindered view of Nanga Prabhat which at 8137 meters is one of the world’s highest peaks. Arrive Gulmarg and After refresh by your Own Explore: Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. Optional: One can have Gondola ride (at your own cost) from Gulmarg to Affarwat/ Kungdooru. After that return back to Srinagar and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4
Srinagar – Sonamarg sightseeing – Srinagar
After Breakfast leave from hotel Continue drive to Sonamarg 2690 Meters (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonamarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh and you can also visit Zero Point which is known as “Ghumri” (by union vehicle on your own cost}, after the beautiful sightseeing of Sonamarg return back to Srinagar hotel.
Day 5
Srinagar – Pahalgam sightseeing
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Pahalgam. “The Valley of Shepherds” at 2134 meters. enroute, you pass through Pampore famed for its saffron fields and Avantipur with its ruins of a 9th Century Mahadeva temple. Arrive Pahalgam and Check-in hotel. After refresh by your own Explore: visit Chandanwari and Betaab valley by local cab (by your own cost). You can visit by pony to Baisaran (Mini Switzerland). After that overnight stay at hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 6
Pahalgam to Baisaran valley – Pahalgam
Morning after breakfast proceed toward Baisaran valley. Baisaran is located just 5 kilometers from Pahalgam, and can be reached by pony rides (on cost) which are available from Pahalgam. If you are fit or workout on a daily basis, you can also enjoy a hike to Baisaran, which will take you around 60 minutes. Baisaran valley in Pahalgam is also known as mini-Switzerland of Kashmir because of its natural and breathtaking beauty. The Baisairan valley must be in your bucket list when you are going to visit Pahalgam.
The valley is dotted with fir trees encircling it and snow-covered peaks are seen taking a sneak peek inside the valley. The breathtaking view of the valley is famous for its picturesque beauty and gives an unmistakable similarity to the Swiss valley. After this return back to Pahalgam and visit the loca market of Pahalgam. Then return back to hotel dinner and overnight say.
Day 7
Pahalgam - Srinagar (drop)
After breakfast, check out from the Pahalgam hotel and transfer to Srinagar Airport our driver will drop you airport. It will be your last day of the tour. Then the tour ends and return to home with sweet memories of Kashmir tour With Journey Handlers.
