Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival at Srinagar
On arrival at Srinagar Airport from there you will meet and assist by our representative the summer capital of Kashmir. It will be your 1st day of the tour. The city of lakes and historical monuments. On arrival enjoy Shikara ride and visit nearby market and enjoy the evening view of Srinagar. Then Check in the house boat, dinner and overnight stay at house boat.
Day 2
Local City Tour of Srinagar
After breakfast Check out from the houseboat and you commence your sight-seeing activities with the glorious past of Kashmir visiting the famous mughal gardens. Shalimar (Abode of Love) built by Jahangir for his beloved queen Nur Jahan in 1616. The garden has four terraces and the fourth terrace was once reserved for royal ladies. Nishat (The Garden of Pleasure) built by Asif khan for his sister Nur Jehan in 1633. The garden command’s magnificent view of the lake. Chashma-i-Shahi (Royal Spring) was laid by Shah Jehan in 1632. It is famous for the spring of refreshing digestive mineral water. It will be your full day sightseeing then check in the hotel dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3
Srinagar – Gulmarg sightseeing – Srinagar
After morning breakfast drive to Gulmarg, the famous “Meadow of Flowers” at 2730 meters, with an unhindered view of Nanga Prabhat which at 8137 meters is one of the world’s highest peaks. Arrive Gulmarg and After refresh by your Own Explore: Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. Optional: One can have Gondola ride (at your own cost) from Gulmarg to Affarwat/ Kungdooru. After that return back to Srinagar and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4
Srinagar – Pahalgam
Post a refreshing breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel drive to the beautiful valley of Pahalgam situated on the banks of the river Lidder. This beautiful place is situated at an altitude of 7200 feet above sea level. While proceeding towards Pahalgam, en-route visit the Avantipura Ruins and Cricket Bat Factory. If time permits, you can also visit the temple in Avantipura en-route the Pahalgam. The place has 2 temples, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Pahalgam is the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra. By the afternoon, you will reach Pahalgam. Upon reaching there, take some leisure and then explore the scenic beauty of the Lidder river valley. Overnight at the hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 5
Pahalgam – Srinagar
This morning, check out from the hotel and enjoy relaxing walks along Lidder River to experience its mild lapping. You can walk or hire a pony to explore the beautiful spots of Pahalgam (at your own cost). In the afternoon, embark on a drive to Srinagar. On the way to Srinagar, you will get an opportunity to explore the chandanwari, Aru Valley, and Betaab Valley. Upon reaching Srinagar check-in at the hotel to relax and unwind. The evening is free for you; so, if you want you can also visit the local markets of the city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6
Srinagar – Sonamarg
After Breakfast leave from hotel Continue drive to Sonamarg 2690 Meters (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonamarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh and you can also visit Zero Point which is known as “Ghumri” (by union vehicle on your own cost}, It will be your full day sightseeing after the beautiful sightseeing of Sonamarg check in the hotel dinner and overnight stay at Sonmarg.
Day 7
Sonamarg to Kargil
Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel. Then continue the journey toward Kargil. Enjoy on the way nature beauty towards Kargil. On arrival at Kargil check in the hotel then dinner and overnight stay in the hotel at Kargil.
Day 8
Kargil to Leh
Post breakfast embarks the journey to Leh which is 230 kilometers from Kargil town. En-route visit the ancient rock-cut statue of Maitreya Buddha at Mulbekh village. Later stop for a photo at lunar-like landscapes near Lamayuru Monastery. On the way, enjoy a mouth tempting lunch and photo stop at the Sangam of Indus and Zanskar rivers. By the evening, arrive Leh and check-in at the hotel in Leh. The rest of the time is at your leisure. You can explore the market of Leh or rest in your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Day 9
Leh Local Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast, start the local sightseeing of Leh visit Alci, Pathar sahib gurdwara, Shanti stupa,Magnetic hill, Sangam, Sham Valley, Likir Monetary and Hall of fame. It will be your full day sightseeing of Leh. After return back to hotel then dinner and overnight stay at Leh hotel.
Day 10
Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardungla
You will leave for Nubra Valley post breakfast. Proceed for the Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass which is among the world’s highest motorable roads situated at an altitude of 18360 ft. Upon your arrival in Nubra, you will visit the Hunder Sand Dunes where you can take a camel ride on a double-humped camel or Bactrian camel.After the camel ride(by your own cost), you will head to the camp or hotel. Check-in at the pre-booked hotel or deluxe camp in Nubra Valley. You can explore the enchanting beauty of the valley by taking a walk in the nearby areas. Overnight at the hotel in Nubra.
Day 11
Nubra Valley to Pangong via Shyok River
Post breakfast in the Nubra Valley, you will head for the Pangong Lake but first, you will visit the Diskit Monastery (Big Buddha). From the top of the monastery, you can get the mesmerizing view of the valley. After pay homage at the monastery, you will start for the Pangong Lake via Shyok River. The lake is situated at an altitude of 1,500 ft. and it is the world’s highest saltwater lake. Check-in at the camp upon your arrival and the rest of the time is at your leisure. Enjoy the fascinating sunset and take a stroll alongside the majestic lake. Overnight stay at the camp near Pangong Lake.
Day 12
Pangong Lake – Leh via Chang La Pass
On this day of the Ladakh tour, you will leave for Leh via Chang La Pass after having breakfast. But make sure that before leaving, you will enjoy the picturesque view of sunrise on the lake. You will be headed to Leh via Chang La and En-route visit Thiksey and Hemis Monasteries. Upon your arrival in Leh, check-in at the hotel and enjoy your time here. If the time and energy permits, you can go for shopping in Leh, overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Day 13
Leh (Departure)
It will be the last day of your tour. Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and the cab driver will drop you at Leh airport for you further journey. Then the tour ends but the happy memories will remain with journey handlers.
