Itineraries
Day 1
Arrive in Hanoi
Welcome to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Upon arrival at the airport, pick up from the airport and transfer to your hotel. Check in at hotel (standard time approx. 1400 hrs.). Then the day is at leisure.
Day 2
Hanoi Full Day City Tour
Breakfast at Hotel
Visit Ba Dinh Square – the biggest square in Hanoi where all the biggest cultural, political events of the cities, especially demonstrations, take place. Start our visit at the Complex of Ho Chi Minh including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (close on Monday and Friday), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fish pond and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Then, the Temple of Literature which is considered as the first university of Vietnam.
Continue visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, locates on a small peninsula on the East side of the dazzling West Lake, this is the most ancient pagoda in Hanoi with its history line of more than 1,500 years.
Afternoon, have an overall view of the capital by leisure walking, which will go through the fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses also known as ‘The 36 Streets’ – each street being named after the merchandise traditionally sold there, ranging from fabrics to crafts and from medicines to tombstones. Drop by Hoan Kiem Lake. Visit The Huc Red Bridge and walking around the Old Quarter streets to visit St Joseph’s Cathedral from outside.
After that back to hotel.
Day 3
Hanoi – Ha Long Bay Day Cruise

Early Morning pick up from the hotel. Head East for more than 3.5 hours approx. to Halong Bay, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006. Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Marina, check in a 4 hours day cruise to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending-dragon” bay, created by thousands odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc. We stop to visit Grottos, passing floating houses. Disembark from the boat, transfer back to Hanoi. Your time at leisure.

Day 4
Hanoi Day at Leisure
Breakfast at hotel. Time at leisure.
Day 5
Hanoi - Departure
Morning after breakfast; you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home to India. Time at leisure until check out time and transfer to the airport with driver only (no guide) for the departure flight back to your sweet home. Then the tour ends but the sweet memories will remain with Journey Handlers.
