The city has a number of historical monuments, with the Koodal Azhagar temple, Meenakshi Temple and the Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal being the most prominent. Madurai is an important industrial and educational hub in South Tamil Nadu.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore is called the "Manchester of South India" due to its extensive textile industry, fed by the surrounding cotton fields. The city is situated on the banks of the river Noyyal, Coimbatore existed even prior to the 2nd or 3rd century AD by Karikalan, the first of the early Cholas.

Day 1
Coimbatore Arrival and Transfer to Ooty
Arrival and meet and greet at the Coimbatore Airport. Start Your Journey with Journey Handlers and transfer to Ooty.
In route we visit tea plantation famous for Nilgiri Tea at Coonoor. Check in at the hotel as you arrive in Ooty. Evening free for shopping and other activities and overnight stay at Ooty.
Day 2
Ooty Local Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for a site seeing tour of Ooty. Visit the Doddabeta Peak which is the highest peak of Ooty. From here you will get a very panoramic view of the Ooty neighboring regions. By noon back at Ooty town. Afternoon visit the famous Botanical Garden built in 1847 and the Ooty Lake were boating facility is available. You can also try horse-back riding around the lake. Evening visit Coonoor. Overnight at Ooty.
Day 3
Ooty - Kodaikanal
After breakfast, drive to Kodaikanal. Arrive Kodaikanal and check in to the hotel. Start for sightseeing and visit La Saleth Church, 500-Year-Old Tree, Dolphin Nose, Vattaikanal. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4
Kodaikanal City Tour
After breakfast, visit Coaker's Walk, Pillar Rocks, Suicide point. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5
Kodaikanal - Madurai (150 kms/ 3 hrs)
Morning after breakfast, checkout and drive to Madurai. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Post freshen up visit to the famous “Meenakshi Amman Temple” dedicated to goddess Parvati. Though it is famous by the name of goddess meenakshi, the temple is also dedicated to her consort lord Shiva as Sundareshwarar. Onward visit the beautiful Tirumalai Nayak palace - a 17th century marvel with beautiful architecture. Overnight at hotel in Madurai.
Day 6
Madurai - Coimbatore (250 Km / 6 Hrs)
Early Morning we check out from the hotel and proceed to Coimbatore. We Visit the Isha Yoga Ashram and see Dhyanalinga temple, and112 feet Adiyogi shiva staute. Evening enjoys light and sound show at ADIYOGI shiva staute.
Day 7
Departure
Morning after breakfast, at time checkout and transfer to Airport/ railway station for your onwards journey. Tour concludes with happy memories.
